Comfy Fingering Yarn

$3.99 50g / ball

Knit with fine, lightweight cotton all year. With a large selection of colors, this yarn is a perfect cotton option for colorwork knitting. Why limit yourself to single color knitting just because the temperature warms up? The blend of Pima cotton and acrylic fibers in Comfy make it easy to knit heavily textured stitches, like cables. Use Comfy for babies, warm weather, or your favorite sweater that you know you will throw in the washing machine again and again.

I just started working with Comfy Fingering a couple of weeks ago, making a pair of socks. I can't believe how easy it is to work and what a beautiful hand it has. I'm excited to finish them so I can wear them; expecting that experience to be as wonderful as knitting them up has been so far.

Let me begin by saying that I hate cotton. It doesn’t move right and it doesn’t stretch which affects the knitting experience as well as the finished object. It’s also not particularly soft. This yarn is different! It feels more like a bamboo mix. It also moves just like wool. I am knitting a baby sweater and the ribbing stretches the way it should. It is definitely soft enough for next to baby skin items and I found the color representation to be on point (I did get the flamingo pink) perhaps the reviewers who complained about the colors need to adjust their monitors? So far this is a wonderful knitting experience. I will see how it blocks later. I am also looking forward to crocheting with it. Very nice yarn.

This yarn is very soft and I appreciate existence of fingering weight for this type of fiber. It is ideal for summer baby sets. I ordered "Flamingo" color and it is exactly the same color that is on my computer screen. Flamingo bird has no bluish undertones. It is soft pink with warm undertones and yarn is exactly like that. Will be ordering other colors soon.

Why is Knit Picks so completely unresponsive to its customers calls for more color choices for its Comfy Yarn as well as truer representations of the colors on its website? Please respond.

I just had to write a counter-review to the review of FLAMINGO. I have used this color for several projects and it is definitely PINK, not orange or coral.
