"I recently knitted a lovely shrug with Shine Worsted.  It came out beautifully, made in this oh-so-soft to the touch worsted weight yarn.  What do I love about this yarn?  First of all, a soft, very smooth texture that doesn't pill.  Next, the price!  I knit my entire shrug for under $20 - wow!!  The yarn is comfortable year round and is really wonderful to work with.  I will definitely use this yarn again!"  -Natalie, Knit Picks customer

I, too, was fooled by the color I ordered the first time. I wanted a light gray, but ended up with a soft green! I knit it up anyway, since I was knitting for sale. It is really nice to work with - the drape is nicer than any yarn I have used in years. I washed it once before sending it on and there was a very small amount of pilling, but nothing that caused me to withhold it from sale. And the sweater was bought within a week! This time, I enlarged the yarn color and read that my next order is described as "silver gray."

I used Shine Worsted to make a baby blanket for which the designer had specified Knit Picks Comfy. Shine was a pleasure to work with, and the stitch definition is outstanding. Just one caveat: Always check gauge. l had to go down two needles sizes, from the size 7s specified in the pattern, to size 5 to get it right.

Seems like nice yarn but the Platinum color was not that at all, more of a beige cream color. So glad that I actually had to return it because I ordered the wrong weight. I will not order that color again. I know it is hard to get color right on computers BUT the description of the color was off as well. Not any gray in it. Gray is a blue tone, not a yellow tone which the Platinum color definitely is.

Fair rating is due to the color variation in what I received, and what was displayed on the website. Has happened 3 times with this yarn! Blush is almost a bubblegum pink, and Peapod is more of a lime green. Can't understand why they can't photograph the colors better.

I use this yarn to knit face cleansing cloths, dishcloths and accessories like scarves. This is one of my favorite yarns. The texture is buttery smooth and it looks beautiful. I like the texture for face cloths because it so smooth. I haven't noticed any issues after getting the cloths wet as far as pilling or fading. Others mentioned fuzzies, but I haven't come across that problem, but I haven't used it to make sweaters or blankets. I agree with other reviews that some of the colors look very different on the site. Wallaby is much darker in person than on the site and I've looked at it across different monitors. I've also come across color issues (monitor vs actual) with Robot, Platinum and Grapefruit.
