Kathleen Dames Patterns
Kathleen is an independent knitwear designer in New York City and Bath, Maine. She just self-published her first pattern collection, Avast No. 1: eight patterns for piratical knitters which may have been influenced by her family's interests in Peter Pan, Spongebob Squarepants, and all the pirates of the Caribbean, as well as all the time they spend by oceans and lakes. For her knitwear design is like writing a sonnet: within a standard form there is boundless creativity.
