Lynette lives adjacent to the beautiful Pacific Ocean on the Southern Oregon coast. She has been knitting for most of her life and started designing patterns after completing the Master's Knitting course. Currently she owns a business, Fernwood Woolworks, where she knits 750+ pair of socks annually on a 1910 LeGear Circular Sock Machine. She vends at upscale events in her region and at Saturday Farmer's Markets at the Port of Brookings/Harbor. She also runs a shop through ETSY.com and provides a service where she knits socks from customers' yarn which is very popular during the Holiday season. The patterns Lynette designs are for what she considers beginner/intermediate knitters. They provide a bit of a challenge but basically can be completed quickly. She focuses on everyday items that everyone can use and knit. She gains inspiration from her surroundings, the beautiful Pacific Ocean and Redwoods National Forrest. Knitting for her 2 grandchildren and 4 children, running a business and living on a 6 acre ranch means she is one busy lady!
