I grew up in Northern Michigan . I was blessed to have a wonderful neighbor, who was a designer for two large yarn company’s and taught knitting for 4-H. She gave me my love of knitting at the early age of 9. My projects often reflect my living in remote, (access to the island by plane or boat) Kodiak, Alaska (with the bears),for 25 years and my now, farm life, in Northern Michigan.
