Bead Lightning Shawl
Sometimes inspiration for a new design hits you like a bolt of lightning literally! As I was sitting on my balcony with some lace yarn and matching beads struggling to come up with a unique design, a flash of lightning struck nearby. Thankfully, instead of the lightning, an idea struck meāBead lightning! Lightning in which the intensity appears to vary along the path and which resembles a string of beads! The pattern appears as panels of vertical and horizontal bolts of lightning when it is worn.
Great for a beginner to become familiar with working with lace and beads and an advanced knitter who likes elegance and the drape that beads lend.
Beads are strung before knitting.
