Includes yarn and pattern
The Andean Chullo uses brightly colored stranded designs to depict patterns and motifs found in the traditional hat worn by Andean men, women and children. Keeping with the customary style of the Chullo hats, the solid colored motifs are set against a shifting-color background. This stranded colorwork hat shows off small geometric patterns, such as little waves, spirals or tilting bricks, which are often found in Andean artwork. These smaller motifs are then set against either a band of alpacas or spiraling ripples. Multiple charts let you pick and choose motifs to place on the earflaps, hat and along the crown. Knit from the earflaps up, the hat is finished off with applied i-cord and tassels. Finished Size: Adult M (about 20-21" head circumference)Included pattern is download only.
