These are my favorite stitch markers. Some have darkened a bit, but at this price I can’t complain. I have occasionally used small needle nose pliers to close them a bit more. However I use other stitch markers when knitting with laceweight yarn. I’d like Knitpicks to offer similar colored markers in aluminum.

I do not use these markers with fine weights (lace or fingering), but they work perfectly for everything else I knit. I use them for almost every project I knit that requires a marker. They are not soldered together, but I have never had problems with them catching on the yarn. I like them because they are not bulky, which I feel plastic and rubber markers are. I would be lost without these little guys.

Threw them away. Not a solid circle. Edges catch on everything.

I was sincerely hoping for a solid metal ring, but these are poorly soldered jump rings. I've tossed a whole bunch. Would not buy again.

I agree with others who have noted that many (most?) of the rings do not close to form a perfect ring - and therefore catch and snag on yarn (especially lace weight). I love the ones that I can actually work with and would happily pay more for an entire set that could be used. The size and weight are perfect which is why the inconsistencies are so frustrating! Is anyone at KnitPicks listening?
