Just want to comment I ordered two silver colored yarns on my order last week. Tuff Puff and Mighty Stitch Super builky. the two silvers are so far apart in shade. Tuff Puff is a lovely yarn but color is not a silver, grey or beige. Have no idea what shade it is. Mighty stitch is prettiest Silver I have seen anywhere. Returning Tuff Puff not for quality but color. Never returned a yarn before to Knit Picks

The more I use this yarn, the more I hate it. It shreds easily, which makes it difficult to sew pieces together.

I love Tuff puff, I started making a rainbow log cabin blanket for my great niece, but needed a purple color, the fairy tale color just doesn't do it. It is a nice fiber to knit with. Please make more colors,

I made two personal throw blankets with this and they both shed like bananas. Unfortunately I bought the yarn for the second blanket before the review from the recipient of the first. Would not buy again for a blanket.

Love this yarn! Bought some in "Pucker" and it looks fluorescent. Knitting a pillow cover for the cat, she loves this yarn just as much as I do.

I really love this yarn! It works well in any winter accessory and in blankets. I love making headwraps, cowls, baby blankets, regular blankets.. Just a lot of projects work with this yarn and I highly recommend it.

Oh my squishy happiness! I am in LOVE with this yarn. I had to stop knitting the hat that I'm working on to write this review I am so excited about it! Really! It is super bulky, works up extremely easily and feels like I am playing with clouds. I ordered 10 skeins and already want to order more. The colors are beautiful and vibrant. Squishy happiness for a great price. Amazing.

i'm giving an average rating as i am 50/50 about this wool.... i love it to work wit it is soft and fast knitting and such lovely vibrant colours. My kids love it and actually they've pinched bit to make into craft projects! BUT I find the quality is inconstant- i find joins in 7 out of 10 balls which given it isn't a very long ball i find very annoying! And to make matters worse (now wishing i took photos of) i find sometimes the join is 10 cm long then another join!!!!! no-one that is knitting with a ball of wool can tell me this strikes you as quality?! Also i have found like the other reviewer that it looses its very nice and tidy finish too quickly (in some cases before i've even finished knitting something long like a scarf simply the movement of bringing the project into and out of a bag and letting it trail over the sofa balls/fuzzes it up!) making me feel like it appears as a used rather than a new piece. (not favourable if to be a gift) and my last issue with it is why no White or orange in the colours? Otherwise yes i have bought more as i plan to give a few balls and pairs of knitting needles to nieces and nephews as learn to knit gifts as i think it is a skill everyone show have (even if very basic) and it is so instantly seductive and rewarding to work with i think it is a perfect into wool. (unfortunately expensive tho')

Great yarn, but you need to make an orange so we can make rainbow things with this yarn!

I recently taught myself to knit. I had tried different yarn and it was challenging. Using this yarn was my turning point. It became so easy, and it was very encouraging. I was able to knit a big hat with a pom pom on top in about 1hr30. Because the yarn is thick the stitches are beautifully displayed. You can appreciate all the details. I always look forward to knitting with this yarn. I've purchased the white, marina, serrano, black, pucker, conch, mint, macaw, and canary. Every last color is so vibrant and beautiful. It's an awesome price for the quality and amount of yarn. I highly recommend it. :)

I do appreciate the value and super bulky-ness of this yarn. Projects work up very rapidly! However, I will not buy it again. It becomes fuzzy quickly with wear and the winter accessories that I have made for the kids shed fibers which get on their clothes and in their mouths.

Used in place of Wool and the Gang's crazy sexy wool to knit a turtleneck sweater. The yarn sheds. I wave my arm and I leave a trail of wool fiber everywhere. Tuff puff is an economic bulky yarn choice but I wished it didn't shed so much.

It is a great yarn, not as soft as I would have thought from the name but it is a really nice wool and I will be buying more again.

So far so good. I'm really enjoying knitting with the Marina Tuff Puff. I'm using it to make a "poof" ottoman style floor pillow. The finer is cry soft and has a nice hand as I'm knitting with my size 15 needles. It is not tightly spun, so I will need to see how the finished project will wear. I tried knitting it doubled but it wasn't comfortable to knit with, the stretch on my pinky finger for tension was uncomfortable. Overall I'm pleased with how this project is coming along. I'm here on the site to order more. KAT

I love this yarn! I ordered two skeins of Macaw and knit up a hat and mittens. It was fun to knit, the color is amazing and the set is super warm. I want more!

I am currently using the Tuff Puff sampler pack to make a bargello knit afghan. Would love to find the same style yarn in a weight between the extra bulky of Tuff Puff and a heavy weight double knit or worsted weight. I really like the look of non-ply yarns for certain projects.

Love this yarn - it's a lot of fun to work with! It is nice and soft and because it's 1-ply there is no need to worry about splitting. Will definitely repurchase.

I bought the Tuff Puff woodsmoke sampler. The colors are great and I do like the feel of the wool. It's heavy, thick, and warm. Perfect for winter hats and accessories. My only real complaint is that when tightening the stitches around the crown of my hat, pulling on the tail to tighten the knot caused the wool to come apart.

I ordered the Sweetheart and Minerals sampler packs so I received white, black, silver, marina, conch, celestial, mint, and fairytale. Needless to say, I was very excited when the shipment came in. The yarns are beautiful, colors are vibrant (I especially love Fairy Tale which is more of a rich reddish-purple than the photo shows) and yarn itself is very soft and works up quickly. However, the yarn can loosen and break if you are too rough so I wouldn't recommend it for projects involving a lot of pulling like cabling. Overall, great soft yarn for quick projects.

LOVE Tuff Puff! It's super soft and the thickness of the yarn is pretty consistent. This is my first super bulky yarn I have tried and I wasn't disappointed.

I guess I thought this would be a little softer...with "puff" being in the name. It's a little scratchy but I'm hoping it'll soften up with use and wash, as I made a scarf out of it. Pomegranate color has a little more brick red color to it in person.

I bought a sampler pack of Tuff Puff to make my dog a sweater and it was wonderful! The single ply is great and I didn't think it was too prone to separating, it's nicely wound. It has a bit of a halo and sheds a bit but that was sort of to be expected. I also used to leftovers to knit myself a hat and surprisingly, it's not that itchy, plus the hat is also the warmest hat ever! Also, I loved all the colors, very true to the site's pictures, I thought. I will definitely be purchasing more Tuff Puff!

I ordered the tuff puff wool in silver and I love it! It's super bulky, soft and high quality.
