I knit a cardigan out of Dogwood Heather, which is a beautiful fresh pink color. The yarn was great to work with and soft after being soaked and blocked, but the sweater felted the first time I washed it in the machine! I followed the laundry instructions, so I'm very disappointed by this. I like Stroll and will continue to purchase it, but it will never go near the washing machine again.

I'm an avid sock knitter and decided to try out the Stroll for several pairs of opt art socks. I'm so glad I did!! The socks are soft and doing well after several washes. I don't think I can go back to other sock yarns now.

I made a pair of running tights in Sapphire Heather and they're soft, warm, and beautiful - this yarn holds up well to wear and laundering. Merino performs better than cotton along every dimension for athletic wear, and this is a great yarn at a great price.

I love this yarn! That said, I just received a shipment with some navy blue... and this really is more like a black with green flecks on it. So, I'm leaving the excellent rating, because I've been using the yarn for years, but if anyone at KP reads these posts, please check on your navy blue.

I've been weaving with this yarn and it works up into the most gorgeous light-weight scarves. I love it and wish I could get about 4 balls of every color just to have on hand.

I absolutely love this yarn. I usually knit socks out of it but I decided to make a dreambird shawl out of it and I am so glad that I did. The colors are vibrant and rich and the finished product is soft and drapes so beautifully. Highly recommend this yarn for anything from head to toe, great yarn!

The socks made from this yarn are fuzzing and pilling; the socks have been washed (inside out and following label instructions) and worn three times. The socks stretch out too much when worn--this may be due to not enough negative ease when knitted. After washing, the socks will fit again. I still like the yarn. Will KnitPicks provide an online chart for the suggested negative ease for knitting socks for the different sock yarns?

Great yarn! I bought two balls two years ago, or so, and made a pair of socks with it: socks are holding up great, even with being washed in the laundry (regular cycle, with all the rest of the clothes--inside out, of course). Sadly, I lost one of the socks (it is a horrible, and frustrating mystery), but having enough yarn left made just one more to match the first. I am so glad I did, and now these socks are my favorites once again. I inspect the soles and heels regularly for wear, but once washed they appear just as hale and hearty as ever! I love how I can wear them all day and they still feel and look lovely at the end of the day. I will definitely purchase more of this yarn! Now I have my eye on some of the Stroll Tonal...more yardage and fantastic colors!

I LOVE this yarn its soft, it works up wonderfully and is soo much nicer than any yarn that I've found in any store and best of all it's washable!

Very soft and very beautiful, without too much fuzz. Wonderful hand and great stitch definition. Doesn't split easily. I could have a whole craft room full of just this yarn!

I knit tiny clothes--Barbie-doll size--and I love this yarn for my projects. It has a lot of spring to it, it washes well, and it's just so soft! Also, it doesn't seem to attract moths or other yarn-loving insects, which is a huge plus. I love it--if I get back into knitting socks this will be me for sure go-to yarn. Yay!

My rating is average--the rating box did not accept it! Hmmmm. My critique: i used stroll sock yarn in brown. It does not have enough "memory" for socks (compared to Debra Norville), and worst of all it pills terribly. Disappointed.

I've been using this yarn for years, for gloves as well as socks, scarves, cowls, hats and sweaters. I love it for the crisp stitch definition, the feel in my hand, how soft it is, and how well it wears. And when I have a chance to buy it buy the bag, I don't hesitate!
