How beautiful is this! I've fallen in love with this yarn, such sheen and texture, and the color Gosling is fantastic! Knits beautifully in my knitting machine. Now I can't wait for my next delivery so I can continue my project.

I will agree that Lindy Chain comes in great colors and has great stitch definition when used for lace BUT the hand is rough and the knit swatch is scratchy. I know that's probably the linen content which I haven't used before. If anyone knows if this softens up as the garment is worked, blocked or laundered, please give me some tips. I don't think my daughter's with sensitive skin will be happy with this.

Another fantastic fiber! Using silver for the Alcea cowl. With size 8 needle I love the larger stitch and relaxed knit. The yarn is tenderly crisp in the ball but gets softer while knitting and even softer with wash. I initially bought it for light jewelry, however after knitting a swatch I knew this would make a perfect light cowl. Rich looking knit. Perfect for tank and spring accessories. For crafters the chained fiber itself proves visually interesting and usable for a variety of fiber art. I love it and am hoping for metal tones for jewelry art....

I love this yarn. I chose the color plum- colors are what KP are the masters of. This color is a beautiful concoction of dusky, brownish, grayish purple. Simply stellar. I hope they never retire this line and color.

I am knitting a runner for my dining room table. I am using holly berry. It is a great color for christmas.

I was looking for a light-weight airy yarn suited for very hot climates. Lindy Chain is exactly what I was looking for. I decided to take a chance and order enough for two projects. As soon as I received the yarn I started my first project:a lacy summer top using Lindy Chain (Plum). The yarn has excellent stitch definition and works great for lace knitting. When knitted up, the yarn has a vintage look to it. I love Lindy Chain. My only complaint: Not enough colors.

I had read a review stating the impossibility of splitting a stitch; saying that, I have had problems with catching a single thread which causes problems with pulling the yarn back into shape so to speak. I am sure anyone knitting with this type of yarn will know what I am talking about. Saying that, this fiber combination is awesome to work with, wash & wear!!

This yarn is exactly what I was looking for. It's light and airy which is well suited for hot climates. I ordered several balls in plum to make a light summer tee. I'm using a lace pattern. After several rows I was extremely impressed with the quality of this yarn. The color and the overall texture gives the project a sort of vintage appeal. Please add more colors.

This yarn is amazing. The colors are rich, the texture soft but firm the way you'd want it to be with linen, and the chainette construction makes it impossible to split a stitch. No "fuzzys" from this yarn. ...and the price is unbelievable. Just another reason why Knit Picks is two steps ahead.

I received my first shipment of Lindy Chain yarn yesterday and I couldn't wait to see how it worked up. I'm crocheting a shawl and I'm very pleased with the colors and how nice it is to work with. I would like to see some crochet patterns for sweaters and/or shell/tank top for this yarn.
