$2.99 100g / ball

Versatile enough to be used for projects around the home as well as for accessories and garments, Dishie is a worsted weight cotton yarn that has a tight spin and high absorbency. This makes Dishie not only easy to knit with, but extremely durable as well - making it your go-to choice for dishcloths, hand towels and even baby bibs. This multi-purpose yarn also works wonders when used for hats, toys, market bags and more. Available in a bright and cheerful color palette, Dishie is a great option for warm climates and easy care garments.

Just received my order, love the colours, can't wait to start knitting.

5 out of 5 stars

I love dishie! I have all the colors. I was fortunate to be able to purchase two colors of multi when I first discovered it when they were being discontinued. So sad. I LOVE the multi. Please bring them back!!!

5 out of 5 stars

No comparison to cotton found at Walmart or Hobby Lobby. It is a joy to work with and colors are vibrant. What cotton I have in my stash will be donated...keep this coming!

5 out of 5 stars

This is wonderful yarn. I just finished a project using Lily Sugar & Cream then I started another project using Dishie. What a difference. Dishie is far superior - tighter twist, smoother, better hand. Dishie is also a better value.

1 out of 5 stars

This yarn is scratchie and horrible to crochet - would never purchase again - very disappointed !

5 out of 5 stars

Great cotton yarn for washcloths/dishcloths. I'd love to see a sampler of different colors in a package.

5 out of 5 stars

This is great yarn! I bought it in navy. The color is very rich and the yarn very soft to the touch, unlike the stuff at the store. It's so nice in fact that I can't even see using it to make a dishtowel. I used mine to knit a turban for a baby boy and I think I'll be buying a few more skeins to make a few more baby hats.

5 out of 5 stars

I love this yarn! I would like to see some tonal or variegated colors to add a little pop to my work.

5 out of 5 stars

Tired of solids, how about some multis or prints?

5 out of 5 stars

I love working with this cotton yarn. It makes the most fabulous washcloths. The yarn is easy to work with, soft and smooth. Best of all, the skeins have so much more yarn than the store brands like Peaches and Cream. I buy nice locally made soap and wrap it in a crocheted washcloth as a nice little gift for m friends.

Hi Knit Picks folks! Dishie is my all-time favorite yarn. I gave it a wonderful review on here years ago, and like so many others, I begged for some variegated or even tonal varieties to complement the beautiful solids. With so many devotees of this yarn asking for the same thing, for so long, I am surprised you guys haven't made any attempt to satisfy us yet. Please, please, please! With a cherry on top? :)

5 out of 5 stars

Excellent cotton yarn, the finished pieces are great, excellent quality. I wish you add more colors or bring some of the old colors, same with variegated, please, please add them again!!

5 out of 5 stars

I am with Joanna, love variegated, puts some pop in whatever I am doing. Also please have some solids that work with it. Sadly found variegated yet nothing to work with it, alas another brand. Just found you guys thanks to Ms. Bacca

I bought this yarn because I HATE (did I say hate?) the Peaches & Cream and other cheap cotton yarn. Almost every single review here is 5 stars and after I received it, I found there is good reason for it. The colors are bright and vibrant and even though it's cotton, it's SO soft!! Made my first dishcloth and threw it in the sink. It has the perfect amount of stretched and the color is not faded. I would definitely purchase again AND recommend to everyone who is still out there buying the cheap crap from Wal-Mart. Love it!!

5 out of 5 stars

Love this yarn. Please add more colors. Much nicer than Sugar and Cream.

5 out of 5 stars

my favourite yarn for towels and dish/face cloths - really good quality stuff. I hate that I have to buy lower grade yarns elsewhere to get some variegated yarns. Bring them back, please!

5 out of 5 stars

this was some of the first yarn that i had ordered from knit picks and i really enjoy using it. it is perfect for dishcloths yet so soft that it makes wonderful face cloths too. the colors are beautiful and very saturated. true to photos as well. wonderful yarn!

5 out of 5 stars

I love this yarn so much! It's softer than Sugar 'n' Cream. But I so wish it had the variegated colors that the Lily brand has! Solids are fine, but striping cotton is harder because I hate weaving in ends. This is thinner than my Sugar yarns. Those knit well with size 7 needles, but I feel like my Dishie needs a size 6 to make the same close knit. So I'm going to try size 6 needles, even though the recommendation is 7-8.

5 out of 5 stars

It's probably one of my all time favourite yarns to work with and makes making dishcloths a great "in between" project.

5 out of 5 stars

Like so many others, i want more colors. Solids. Multis. Ialsowanta knitpiks version of red heart scrubby.

5 out of 5 stars

Would buy SO much more but your lack of multi colors is very disappointing. I love self-striping and tonal - and find your color choice very limiting.

5 out of 5 stars

Can someone let me know if had used this 100% cotton yarn in a blouse/top? I'm looking for 100% cotton yarn for a top project and after reading all reviews Im tempted but I see mostly had been used in dishcloth..

5 out of 5 stars

Please bring back the vibrant, fun, modern multi dishie yarns!!

5 out of 5 stars

i really enjoy working with Dishy Yarn. Its great for all types of knitting or crochet. I would like to see some variegated Dishy yarn if it would be possible. Thank you for the free dish cloth patterns.

5 out of 5 stars

I love this yarn. Most of my use of cotton yarn goes into charity causes and I'm so pleased with the quality. So soft and not stiff like store brand cottons. Great softness for baby hats. I like the way it drapes and holds it shape. Deserves 10 stars. However it would really be nice if there were variegated colors.

5 out of 5 stars

This will be my new go-to yarn for dishcloths. I love the tight , thinner feel compared to the Sugar and Cream. Wish it came in stripes, and the Colors (I ordered Pomegranate and Creme Brûlée) are a little more muted than on the computer screen. But I really like the ease of knitting with this product. Bring back the multi, please Knit Picks, so I don't have to revert back in order to get the striped version of cotton!

5 out of 5 stars

please bring back the multicolored dishie!

5 out of 5 stars

Lovely to work with. Very soft.

5 out of 5 stars

Loveeee this yarn. 1000x better then sugar and cream. PLEASE MAKE MORE COLORS! And striped/ombré colors would be awesome !

5 out of 5 stars

For you dyers out there: Although it doesn't have the shine of mercerized cotton, Dishie does take up Procion MX dyes comparably to mercerized. Fuschia strikes faster, but it does not overwhelm the yellow and blue as I have seen on many other unmercerized cottons. "Swan" is your unbleached, natural color. And yes, this is a LOVELY yarn and you need to stop using S&C! :)

5 out of 5 stars

I've only been working with this yarn for half a day, and I love it already. I ordered it to make a lightweight summer topper, and it's turning out to be perfect for that. It's tightly spun and easy to work with. I had some misgivings because of Sugar and Cream, which is not really suitable for garments, but this is going to be just fine. I do wish it came in a wider variety of colors. I love to knit "dishrags," too. I'd like to see those gorgeous solids that Pisgah Yarns used to provide in their much-missed Peaches and Cream. But we do have a lot of sophistication in the Dishie colors, and that's great. I'll order more of this and add it to Wool of the Andes on my list of all-time favorite yarns.

5 out of 5 stars

I LOVE this yarn. I'm so impressed with how it feels, and how it makes intricate patterns look. It makes gorgeous, soft facecloths. I'm absolutely in love and will have a very hard time using anything else. This is my first experience with knit picks yarn and I'm already deciding what my next variety of yarn I will try. THANK YOU!!! 100% worth every penny.

4 out of 5 stars

Excellent cotton yarn, much better than Sugar N Cream, but I join many others in asking...no BEGGING for more colors and especially varigated/stripe! PLEASE KnitPicks, listen!

5 out of 5 stars

Love this yarn for dishcloths. I've always used Sugar & Cream until now, but from now on I'll only be using Dishie. Major difference in quality. I do wish it came in 400g cones, though. Wonder if that isn't possible, KnitPicks?

5 out of 5 stars

Please Please Please bring back variegated colours - want to make dishcloths for stocking fillers this coming Christmas and the multicoloured ones look so much prettier....

5 out of 5 stars

Love this all cotton yarn. Such nice quality, great colors. I only wish it came in variegated colors-self striping. Please! 8-)

5 out of 5 stars

Cherry and Ariel mentioned making market bags with Dishie yarn. I'm intrigued. Do you have patterns that you would share? Thank you!

5 out of 5 stars

Great yarn for washcloths!

5 out of 5 stars

I have made washcloths for my boys using Dishie. They have use the cloths for over a year now. After many washing the colors stayed bright and the stitches still look the same as when I first made them. I also have made baby sunhats with the honeydew shade, and they turned out very nicely. A fair price for a very good cotton yarn!

5 out of 5 stars

Just received my order of Dishie! What a pleasant surprise to see what a spectacular looking yarn this is. Color tone is fantastic; and thickness is perfect. Can't wait to start working with it. No doubt will be more impressed. THANK YOU!

5 out of 5 stars

I read the reviews and decided to give this yarn a try, I am truly glad I did! I have used it to make market bags and I love the way it knits up, it exceeded my expectations. It glides so smoothly across the needles. I would LOVE to see this in some additional colors, it is perfect for spa gift sets and I am patiently waiting for my next order!

5 out of 5 stars

Please bring back the tranquil color or a pretty blue-green.

5 out of 5 stars

There have been numerous requests for additional colors, varigated and tonal. Knitpicks has yet to respond to these requests in any fashion. Why can't these requests be honored or at the very least addressed. Thank you for your attention to this request. PS love the yarn!

5 out of 5 stars

Like many here, I love this yarn for dish cloths. I also agree that variegated colors would be great to have. Why doesn't KnitPicks respond to this request. They are typically so customer oriented.

5 out of 5 stars

Love this. I finished my first dish cloth. Very soft. Also I agree with others. Need more colors and varigated.

4 out of 5 stars

I love this yarn, great for my favorite dishtowels, but I need vareigated colors too, to make beautiful sets! Please bring them back!

5 out of 5 stars

The best of the best yarn for dishcloths, I have used it for years. I was lucky to buy some of the multicolored yarn and you could use multiple solids with the varigated. Please bring back the varigated colors, I have four skeins left then I don't know what I'll use. Best yarn out there...

5 out of 5 stars

Question....would this be good for baby wash cloths? I'm not really knowledgeable about yarns so would love some info from more experienced crocheters and knitters. Thanks

5 out of 5 stars

I love this yarn, but am still using some of the Sugar 'N Cream as it comes in stripes. Am hoping for more colors of Dishie, and maybe multi-colors, in time for Christmas knitting.

5 out of 5 stars

Why not multi and tonal?

3 out of 5 stars

This yarn is great but PLEASE get some more colors! I need a nice strong red and green for Christmas dishcloths and as others said, please bring back Multi colors!!!!!!

4 out of 5 stars

I like the yarn, but am saddened that it is not in multi colors. There is also much more yardage with this yarn vs the local store brands. Almost double the yardage for the same price.

5 out of 5 stars

Dishie is absolutely my favorite cotton yarn!

4 out of 5 stars

I want to vote for bringing multis back. Lion Brand Kitchen Cotton is no more, boo hoo, so their nice multi line is gone. One-colour cotton makes kinda boring dishcloths and placemats, ombre and multi makes interesting and fun items easily! MULTI COLOURS PLEASE!

5 out of 5 stars

I made a red and white dish cloth out of this and it worked really well with a bit of detergent to clean up the dust on plastic craft containers. Still got to check if it cleans okay, but it works well for what it's intended use is. Nice to knit with too.

5 out of 5 stars

I LOVE THIS YARN!!!! I ordered a ton of this yarn to make Christmas presents. After seeing how yummy this yarn is, I only made my mom and sister's present and will use the rest for me!

5 out of 5 stars

I see all of the reviews asking for new colors/more variety, but no response. Knitpicks, will there be more colors any time soon? This is by far the best quality yarn for dishrags available anywhere, but I don't use it exclusively because of the limited selection available. Please... more colors!

5 out of 5 stars

Love this yarn. It knits up easily and makes the best face cloths. I just used my very last coveted skein of multi. I will join many others when I plead - BRING THEM BACK.

5 out of 5 stars

Wonderful stuff. No splitting, it feels smooth, strong, and lively. I wanted to make market bags so I bought a selection of colors to see which went well together and had to quickly buy more balls because it was so fast and easy to work with. And everyone is loving their market bags and soap bags. I haven't even gotten around to dishcloths yet.

4 out of 5 stars

Before KP started shipping to Australia I had ordered a bunch of Lily Sugar'n Cream. Now that I've worked with both Dishie and S&C, Dishie is absolutely the winner. Much nicer, fluffs a lot less too! But pleeeeeeeease can we have some variegated colourways? Pretty please? With a cherry on top?

5 out of 5 stars

Please bring back "chestnut" (a lighter shade of brown). I used it to make "bear with me" dish/wash cloth. It was a great hit with the recipient! I would love to do more! Alas, no more chestnut available. Please bring it back!

4 out of 5 stars

Colors are fabulous, but it seems thinner than regular worsted cotton yarn.

5 out of 5 stars

Please, please, please, please, bring back the multi color dishie colors. I have made hand towels using the multi and I really miss not having it.

5 out of 5 stars

More and varigated colors - please!

5 out of 5 stars

I have woven kitchen towels and knit dish clothes with Dishie and like the quality. I only used Dishie once though because there isn't much in the way of color choices. I would purchase again if more colors were added.

5 out of 5 stars

I, too, love dishie yarn. Cotton is my primary choice so I'm always looking for different colors. I have a nice variety of them but I am very sad to see that some of the solids and all of the variegateds are gone.

5 out of 5 stars

I am using this to crochet a baby blanket. I did tests with this as a knit and as crochet. I prefer how this fiber works up in a simple crochet pattern. It's a little fine for worsted weight in my opinion. It doesn't seem to bloom much at all, making it an ideal fiber for projects that need strength. The colors are fabulous and coordinate well. Overall, I was surprised by the softness as it is being worked up. I will definitely make towels & dishcloths with it in the future!

5 out of 5 stars

I love "Dishie". I wish that "Chestnut" would return so I could make more "Bear With Me" dish cloths.

5 out of 5 stars

I just received my order of Dishie yarn in the mail today . While I love the yarn, some of the colors are much darker in person. But, the feel and quality of it make up for that and I will just make it work :-).

5 out of 5 stars

More colors and multi please. This yarn is the best around.

5 out of 5 stars

Like other customers, I agree that Dishie is wonderful to knit with. I made the mistake of trying to use a ball of P&C and it is like pulling teeth. Although the colors you offer are wonderful, I would love to see even more and variegated yarns as well. Thanks.

5 out of 5 stars

Dishie is the ONLY cotton yarn I will use! My absolute favorite! Please bring back the Dishie Multi, and also the "Jay" colorway. Jay was a lovely blue!

5 out of 5 stars

Just want to say that KnitPicks is not just for knitters, but we crocheters love you too!! I love this yarn! Firstly, let me say: I hate using anything other than natural fibers, when I'm making any kind of garment or even when I'm making afghans, I just feel like using plastic that has been spun to look like wool or cotton is so cheap and the results are always scratchy and uncomfortable. Yet using natural fibers can be expensive and limiting, because you usually choose smaller projects: because smaller projects equals less yards, which equals less money spent on skeins of yarn. Yet the quality of natural fibers and texture and feel of the garments is by far, way more superior, compared to when you use acrylic. I stumbled onto Knitpicks, by a review of a crochet blogger and I thought I'd check out your website. I was so glad that I did! This Dishie yarn was my first choice to experiment with and try out your products. I got the yarn in the mail today, and I am thoroughly happy! I got the Black and it is a true beautiful deep black. I decided to use the yarn to make a ribbed Tunisian crochet hat for this winter, just as a fun project, and it is going so well! This yarn doesn't unravel easily and I find that it holds such a beautiful shape and has wonderful draping qualities. I love the softness of this yarn, some cotton yarns can be a bit rough, but this one is nice and soft and so velvety! I love Knitpicks and now am totally hooked on you guys!! I will be buying more yarn from you all and I thank you for making quality yarn at a great price!

5 out of 5 stars

I love dishie, however I too am so saddened that the variegated colors are gone. I LOVED them for dishcloths and would buy much more if you brought them back ;(

5 out of 5 stars

I love this yarns for Amigurumi! Please...more colors!

4 out of 5 stars

I would like more colors!!!

5 out of 5 stars

I was very impressed with this yarn. I've been on a kitchen and bath towel knitting spree and had been using the worsted cotton yarn that's available in local stores, and I thought it was fine. That is, it was fine until I tried Dishie. The difference in quality is like night and day. Items made with Dishie keep their color, shape and absorbency after lots of use and numerous washings, and it is a pleasure to knit with. The plys are firmly twisted, don't split easily, and the yarn slides easily on my needles. All that for about the same price (and in some cases less than) I was paying for the other yarn! I'll be using Dishie for making spa/kitchen gift sets, knowing that the items will look nice and perform well over time

5 out of 5 stars

NEED MULTI COLORS back,please.Pretty please!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars

I love dishie yarn and it is my favourite for cotton crafts. I also wish Knitpicks would bring back some multis--perhaps in multis each of grays, especially teals, and latte/cappuccino etc.

4 out of 5 stars

Like this yarn as I do most of the others. Service is also good. However, colors not being available persuade me to try other yarn companies.

5 out of 5 stars

Best cotton yarn in the world, hands down. PLEASE introduce Dishie in multi and TONAL. Tonal would add some interest and class to cotton items and garments! I'll bet it would fly off your shelves.

4 out of 5 stars

I absolutely love Dishie cotton yarn for kitchen projects. I will NEVER EVER use PnC or SnC from the local craft stores again. My only complaint is that there are no varigated or spotted colors. Please make these available to us.

5 out of 5 stars

VERY disappointed to see the colors I've been using for YEARS discontinued. Please bring them back.

4 out of 5 stars

I love dishie but I "need" the autumn color multi for a gift. Where did it go??

5 out of 5 stars

Like all Knit Picks yarns, awesome quality, MUCH better than Sugar N' Cream. I love the colors and the tight spin. A great dishcloth/facecloth yarn!

5 out of 5 stars

I recently ordered some Dishie to try out. I love it! It's so much smoother and easier to work with than the SnC or PnC. Dishie glides over my needles and hooks and across my fingers. My hands thank you! No longer are they sore after using cotton yarn. Will definitely be buying more in the future.

5 out of 5 stars

The best kitchen cotton I have used! Durable, no splitting, no pilling, no annoying "fluff" coming off like most kitchen cotton. Colors are beautiful, great variety and lots of fun choices. I would love to see more multi color ways, made a lot of gifts in the multi cotton that were very popular!

5 out of 5 stars

I love Dishie, but I'm not buying until the multi colors come back. Please!!

5 out of 5 stars

Very disappointed that you no longer have the colors needed to make your animal dish cloth patterns. Difficult to make a brown bear without brown yarn!

5 out of 5 stars

Love this yarn, but REALLY REALLY REALLY want the multis back. Please bring them back!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars

The quality of your cotton is amazing, and the colors are very interesting. I'd like even more solid colors and BRING BACK THE MULTIS!! They co-ordinated very well with the solids! I love the larger yardage balls, larger than S&C and P&C so the price is probably lower than those.

5 out of 5 stars

I love working with Knit picks yarn the dishie yarn is wonderful to work with and use the dishcloths along with last longer

5 out of 5 stars

Love the material and colors- I agree would love the multi dishie back.

5 out of 5 stars

Very nice cotton, but MORE COLORS P-L-E-A-S-E!!! :-)

5 out of 5 stars

Dishy MUTLI was the first yarn I ordered from here, I made a poncho for myself. took about 14 skeins. And then 3 others saw it, and they ordered dishy multi also. BRING IT BACK, I LOVE THE MULTI.

5 out of 5 stars

I would like to see some White Yarn !

5 out of 5 stars

I love this yarn. I too miss the Dishie Multi and would love to see you bring it back.

5 out of 5 stars

Dishie is delish!!! Love it!!! I want it in all the colors!!! each to work with, love the tight wind! Thank you!

5 out of 5 stars

I love this yarn as I do all things cotton! It is very easy to work with with. The only complaint I have is that the lengths of the skeins seem to be inconsistent. I wasn't aware that 190 yds changed from color to color. However, compared with the color kenai, the color coffee skeins were all consistently shorter.

4 out of 5 stars

Dishie yarn is the best! I would like to see some lighter colors, yellow, green, etc. If you look at the smaller image of the balls of yarn, color is true. Examples: Tranquil, Azure, Creme Brûlée.

5 out of 5 stars

My very favorite 100% cotton yarn of all time! I do so miss the multi, though. I wish you would bring it back.

5 out of 5 stars

Please bring back Dishie Multi! It was the best cotton ombre yarn on the market. Spinrite can't even compete with the tightly-twisted sturdy Dishie.

5 out of 5 stars

This has GOT to be the best cotton yarn available! The tight twist makes it easy to work with - no splitting. Washes up nicely - I've made dishcloths, towels, and other items with it. Love the colors, too. Really liked the Dishie Multi!! Please bring back DISHIE MULTI!!

5 out of 5 stars

Please bring back the multi! I've got a little squirreled away for this Christmas (I make spa clothes for my girlfriends who look for them every year), but probably not enough to keep every one happy. Just ordered some plain colors to stretch it out. Nicest cotton out there!

5 out of 5 stars

I love this yarn, it's my favorite for dishcloths, but please bring back the multi-colors! Thank you.

5 out of 5 stars

This yarn is excellent quality, however, the multi has been discontinued. Those are the only colors I've ever used and will not use the solids for my projects. So unless the multi dishie comes back, I won't be purchasing anymore :(

5 out of 5 stars

I have been using Dishie for several years and I miss the multi colors very much. Is there a reason that they aren't available any longer? Please bring them back. I haven't found any other cotton yarn as nice to work with as Dishie, but I really preferred the multi colored yarns.

5 out of 5 stars

I only Ordered one ball of this yarn. As soon As I began knitting it I new it was special. Sadly or happily a friend asked to learn to knit and I started her on a dish cloth. It was much easier for her to work with than the cotton she had gotten so I sniff, traded her.. I will be impatiently awaiting my new order of dishy ??

5 out of 5 stars

bring the multi colors back and add more colors please love the yarn

5 out of 5 stars

Please bring back the multi color Dishie yarn. It makes the most beautiful dish cloths

5 out of 5 stars

Haven't used yet but want to add my plea for multi-colored. I want to use this yarn!

5 out of 5 stars

Having recenty discovered Dishie, I have to say I have fallen in love with it! Fabulous yarn! I like it so much I have recently purchased three books of dishcloth/dishtowel patterns. I am also loving the free dishcloth patterns here on the KnitPicks website. I love the fact that the yarn is a little less bulky than the popular craft store cotton yarns. It is wonderfully soft and smooth, too. Dishie makes knitting with 100% cotton more like knitting with a luxury yarn, if that is possible. Please, please make it in more colors, as well as stripes and variegated colorways. I am sure it will sell. Thank you!

5 out of 5 stars

Please bring back the dishie multi colored yarn asap! I really enjoyed using it and would like to purchase more!

5 out of 5 stars

In the middle of a project with multi purple dishie yarn. Is it possible to bring it back. I just hate it when I have to restart something when I run out of yarn. Thank you. Leanne

5 out of 5 stars

Love this yarn. Please bring back the multi dishie, it's my favorite yarn to use making dish cloths

5 out of 5 stars

MAN i did not know how much in demand the dishie multi was! I actually bought a bunch on clearance and would happily sell or trade it, I have them on my ravelry page, cchershey, if any of you are interested or even read the reviews. I love this year, but again, am not that attached to the multi. Otherwise, I will keep buying this!

2 out of 5 stars

I don't generally write reviews but no one has said anything very negative about dishie. I purchased the ball I'm using more than a year ago but never got around to using it. I found the colour I'm using (kenai) pretty identical to what is represented on the site. And it is ok to knit with, I'm not a fan of cotton. My issue is with colour transfer. My hands are blue from the yarn! I have very dry skin that will absorb colour easily so be for warned if this happens to you too.

5 out of 5 stars

This is the best cotton yarn for towels, dish cloths, placemats, etc., far superior to store brands. However, PLEASE make black! I have had to combine store brand black with other Dishie colors, and the difference is quite noticeable.

5 out of 5 stars

We NEED MULTI and MORE COLORS . Please bring back the multi and please add more colors. This is the BEST cotton yarn I have ever used.

5 out of 5 stars

I purchased several different colors of the MULTI yarn when they were on sale a few months ago. I just made some doilies with Heat Wave Multi. They came out so beautiful for fall! I made a set for a gift. Now am going to make a set for myself. I just got on your website to order more and it's gone!! I was going to order more of some of the other colors to, like Lodge. That made a very nice crocheted doily for Christmas...a bit different. Please bring some Multi Dishie yarn colors back!! Some different colors with lower contrast, like what you offer in Stroll sock yarn would be awesome! Some self-striping for dishclothes would be really nice, too. Now our only choice is store bought and Dishie is a far superior cotton yarn!!

4 out of 5 stars

The dishie multie was a great yarn. No idea why it can't be brought back.

4 out of 5 stars

I just received this yarn and knit a text piece. The texture is just what I was looking for in a cotton. Unfortunately, the color was completely different than what was shown on the website. I ordered tranquil hoping for a soft blue green color that would make a great beach bag. The color is MUCH darker than represented. Since I only ordered four skeins and the price is very reasonable, I am going to work keep it. Perhaps I will try a bleaching distressed look after I make the bag. Had I read these reviews before I ordered, I may not have purchased this. Lesson learned: Read the reviews!!!

5 out of 5 stars

The best cotton yarn I've ever worked with! It definitely has a more expensive feel to it than the average cotton, its a lot softer, but super durable. I made face cloths with it. The colors are also very vibrant. I'm sad that they don't carry the multi colored line of dishie cottom anymore, they were very festive.

5 out of 5 stars

I've been wanting to try this cotton for awhile now and was not disappointed. I LOVE it!!! It's NOT splitty or coarse like most cotton you find at chain stores . I would even say this cotton is too good for pot holders and such. Has no pile/fuzz either !

4 out of 5 stars

This yarn is a dream to work with. I do have to say that the colors can be pretty misleading. I ordered Tranquil and it's very dark. It honestly looks identical to Kenai on the site, not at all like it's picture. The Mulberry is also a much deeper purple than it appears to be on their website, and the Begonia is much darker as well. Keep this in mind while ordering! Aside from the issues with the website's representation, the yarn itself is really soft and great.

I love this yarn and have chosen it exclusively for my customer orders over several other brands of all cotton household yarn. It is soft and has a nice finish that makes it easy to work with and leave a crisp and clean feeling to the household items I make with it. I bought up several colors and some variegated ones and just came back for more variegated and am not seeing it. What a disappointment! Hopefully that is a seasonal issue and we will soon see the lovely colors blends in this wonderful yarn again.

Dishie does not compare to store-bought cotton yarn. I love the way it feels so soft under my fingers and how it glides on my bamboo needles. I can see how other reviews say it is superb for little stuffed animals. I just started a dish cloth and immediately placed another order!

I really love working with Dishie and have many colors. I wish you still had multi color. My friend wanted Thistle. You wouldn't have a few skeins laying around, would you? Let me know where there might be some.

I love this yarn. I was able to get a few multicolors but I see there are no more. Will you be getting anymore? Love the vibrancy of the colors and all of the cloths I have made with the multi are gone.

I love to knit with this yarn. Have only done dish cloths and a spa set however it is wonderful and I wish that it was carried in stores in our community.

Cotton yarn is definitely one of the best yarns to work with. I do notice some of the colors are completely different from what the images are. I do understand that colors vary with our monitors and what not, but after receiving my Dishie yarn of Begonia (which looked like a Hot Pink in the picture) it looks a lot like Pomegranate. I'm hoping the customer that ordered from me who I am making a bag for doesn't dislike it because it's not exactly the color she and I thought it was.

I'm working on a kitchen rug with Dishie multi - and have a solid color rug to crochet as well once the multi is completed. This yarn works so well and with two strands is making a lovely, soft rug. There are no snags as is inferior cotton brands I've used in the past. I'm very pleased.

I made a few dishcloths with this and with another store bought cotton yarn and there is no comparison! While this is a bit more expensive than the store brand, you get what you pay for. This was easy to knit and it glides over the needles effortlessly (unlike the store brand I was used to) and the colors are fantastic. Between the two brands in the final product, the Dishie yarn was much softer. I will have no problem using this as a washcloth for my face, while the other will be demoted to the kitchen sink. Now that I've found this, I'm making this my go to place for my yarn picks and not just for dishcloths. Just beautiful yarn that makes the final product a bit nicer. Couldn't have asked for better yarn.

I've worked with several cotton yarns over the last decade. I love to make dishcloths and baby items with it. This yarn has the BEST finished product look, best wear and lasts so much better. And for me-- the way a yarn FEELS as I work with it is most of the fun of my knitting and crocheting. This brand feels amazing. Soothing and relaxing for me to work with. :-) I need a monthly budget allowance just for yarn. My hubby calls it my THERAPY. Lol

I used this yarn to make placemats for a craft swatch. Worked up beautifully. I had to double it, and they came out great. About a skein a placemat, with just enough leftover for a small coaster. Much better quality alternative to the kitchen yarn in stores. And beautiful colors!

Dishie is fantastic to work with. It is so very soft! It feels like a very expensive yarn and I look forward to ordering more! I hope they introduce more colors soon because I can imagine that this will work really well for my knitted amigurumi.

Dishie makes beautiful, soft, durable washcloths. I've been making and using them for about a year, and my whole family loves them! The colors are strong and lasting, the yarn is easy to work with, it has excellent stitch definition, and launders well.

Dishie is an unexpected and fabulous find for crochet amigurumi. After years of designing for acrylic yarn, I've switched to cotton because of the beautiful stitch definition. Unlike other commercially available cotton, Dishie has a nice twist and resists splitting. Plus, Dishie softens with time: my daughter's best-loved amigurumi friends are so touchably soft you just can't put them down!
