This is probably my favorite yarn. It can be a bit fragile due to the single-ply nature of it, but the softness and sheen more than make up for it. Are there any plans to bring the ruby and emerald shades back? They're so beautiful, it would be a real shame to retire them.

Yowza! L.O.V.E. This yarn is fabulous! Making it fabulous is the softness and gauge thicker gauge. I'm knitting a sweater with it using 3 1/4 mm needles and it's working up really fast. It's called fingering but isn't slippery and clumsy to work with like a previous fingering I purchased. As it is not worsted one has to be careful to catch all the fibre in every stitch or it separates really easily. Do yourself a favour and buy some of this yarn. I'm debating getting another colour but don't have any more sweater patterns for this gauge. Would love a turtle neck pattern for this fibre!! Knit Picks can you help?

I fell in love with this yarn when I first saw it and knitted up a beanie for myself in the Azurite Solid. The first few washes I did by hand and laid out the beanie on a towel to dry. Then one day I decided to put it in the washer. Whatever you do, do NOT wash this yarn in a washer or dry in a dryer. My beautiful beanie is now a "baby" beanie. It just seized right up into one small tight fitting ball. My mistake and my fault. Otherwise the yarn is simply gorgeous.

Yarn is wonderful and soft however, the color is inconsistent and forms subtile stripes - not what I expected

I have nearly finished my first project with this wonderful yarn and am already planning another. (I have just purchased 5 more skeins in Platinum). Knitted up this yarn feels nearly weightless and is like a soft warm puff of air on the skin. The alpaca creates a beautiful simmering cloud that is amazingly soft and the silk gives the shawl a lovely silvery sheen. Please note: I have noticed some troubling posts on Ravelry concerning this yarn and suspect they were made by individuals unaccustomed to working with single-plied, loosely spun yarn and or alpaca fibers. Yes, a delicate yarn like this needs TLC, but the results are truly stunning. The alpaca creates a lovely halo - it sheds because it is long fiber alpaca, shedding is normal. A Continental knitter, I am using KP's wooden needles and having absolutely no problems with splitting although I am paying more attention to my stitches than I would if using a more tightly plied yarn.

Hooolllleeeeyyyy smokes! The nicest yarn I've ever had. I'm making a wedding shawl with it and wanted it to be higher quality and that's exactly what I got. I was worried the Pearl color would be too stark white, but it's got a beautiful natural cream/grayish sheen to it while still being white (Platinum would have definitely been too gray). I took it out of the bag and immediately melted, it was so soft. Buy this for your higher quality projects. Highly recommend.

This yarn is magnifcent. I am making long cardigan from it. It's taking a long time, being fingering weight and tiny stitches, but it's coming out absolutely beauiful. It's a joy to work with, it's so soft. I bought the green, and the color is amazing. I'm going to get one each of the other colors to decide which to pick for my next project. I plan on having LOTS of this yarn.

Finished Silver Star wrap in Copper solid diadem and it's GORGEOUS!! It's a little difficult to wind into balls, and, yes, it does break occasionally BUT the finished product is well worth the extra TLC Diadem requires. It blocks beautifully and feels like a dream as you knit with it. This copper Diadem Silver Star wrap will be beautiful on my strawberry blonde daughter! Don't forget to swatch.

I got a skein of Diadem free in yarn grab bag promotion. It was so soft, I immediately had to start knitting it. Although it is a little splitty and differs a bit in thickness like Chroma, the yarn is definitely worth the splurge. I ordered 6 more skeins of Diadem and I finished my scarf in less than two weeks. I can't wait to see what my friends and family think of the beautiful scarves I am making for them!

I love this yarn! Its softness and sheen are unmatched, and the drape is incredible. The colors are brilliant -- perfect for colorwork.
