"My first impressions of Chroma:  gorgeous, soft, fluffy, awesome.  The skeins are squishy round things that show all the gradual color changes.  The finished product has a slight halo, even without being washed and blocked.  Even with the softness and halo, I found it had great stitch definition as well.  I am thoroughly delighted to have Chroma, it is such a pleasure to work with."

I have been waiting for a notice that Lollipop has become available, but now it has been taken off the list. Is it gone for good.

This is an update to my earlier review in which I pointed out that the yarn is not worsted weight but a shifting of sport, fingerling and a little worsted. I bought the Paperback color which I was in love with.....until I'd been knitting for about an hour and I looked down to see that my light yellow tablecloth was now completely black where the yarn had been touching it. I'm returning all of it as defective. Don't know about the other colors but beware of the Paperback.

Was really looking forward to this yarn as I loved the paperback color which would look great in my friend's house decorated with black and white photos. But then I received the yarn and I wouldn't classify it as worsted weight. The beggining of the first ball is at most sport weight and I'd even say closer to fingerling. Within the first two rows I'd already encountered two seperate knots joining the ball of yarn. Now wondering how many more I have to look forward to. I'm really disappointed as I'm making a blanket and I'm thinking I'll now have to order twice of much yarn, using two strands at once, to make it anywhere near thick enough. I wouldn't recommend this yarn. The only thing I'm happy with is the color.

I love these yarns, although once in a while a skein is a bit too thin too much and there might be a join where I don't want it. You always seem willing to replace anything with problems, so I am thankful. Colors are great, and consistency is nice too for the price......BUT *slamming table in syncopated rhythm over and over while chanting* WE WANT ROLLER SKATE. WE WANT ROLLER SKATE. WE WANT ROLLER SKATE. WE WANT ROLLER SKATE! ;P

Is Lollipop gone? I love this yarn & need some desperately.

Love the yarn and the colors. Not happy with the consistency of the yarn - thin to normal to bulky. Also had a join in my yarn. Not happy with that. Also why does it take so long to get the colors? I have been waiting 1 1/2months for both lollipop and roller skate in worsted.

I absolutely love the vibrancy and movement of color within this yar, but was so disappointed with the consistency of the yarn itself. The yarn weight is supposed to be worsted, yet very little of the yarn actually feels like a worsted weight and most of it feels like it's varying between sport & fingerling. I'm just glad that the project I am using it for isn't one where the inconsistency will detract from the final product. I love the colors, the yarn feels wonderful, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I loved knitting with this yarn, the colors are very pretty and I liked the gradients. But both balls had joins and the thickness wasn't consistent. At times it would be as thin as sport and others as thick as Bulky. But the yarn is very soft, warm and cuddly.

I purchased this yarn in Wondermint. The color is gorgeous, the darker colors look better in person but the yellow tone is dimmer than show on the website. This soft yarn works up nicely despite the fact that it changes in thickness as you go along. I did notice that there was a join in my ball but it didnt bother me. I'll be buying again. Couldn't give it an excellent because the delivery process was the utmost hassle.

I love the colors and the softness, but was really unhappy with the inconsistency in the thickness of the yarn. I would love to see these colors on a plied yarn.

I received this in mesa and have in love with the color and the feel of this gorgeous yarn. I'm working up a blanket in the mesa worsted and it's stunning. The colors change gradually - no abrupt color changes here! That's why I love it so much. The quality is outstanding, as is usual with Knit Picks, and my favorite colors are all here. Well done, Knit Picks!

I was so pleased with this yarn! I, for one, love that it goes from thick to thin every now and then, though it is mostly consistent. It's splendidly soft, and I'm definitely going to have to treat myself to more colors sometime!

I love the colors and how soft it is. My only complaint I have is in the balls of lollipop I received, the yarn was not a consistent weight. Some of it was thicker then it should be and then it would turn the thickness that it should be but then go to really thin. It did this through out the ball.

Love how this yarn knits, but very disappointed when both balls of yarn I have used so far, have had a join in the yarn. The join colors do not match and leave a hard line of different color in the work, instead of the gradual shading. For the price I would have not expected this.

I have made the Bootie crocodile st. pattern. this yarn is fantastic. Love everything about it.

I love this yarn (beautiful to work with and beautiful colours) but the website lists "Bare" as one of the four solids available but it is nowhere to be seen. Where is it?

I would love to see a natural or bare color available in worsted!
