I am finishing up a T-shirt sweater in Holly Berry. The pattern I am using by Designer Staci Perry, this pattern is fantastic. The yarn is so soft and drapes well. I will be buying more of this yarn. Love It.

If you have something you'll never need to wash this might work - but it pills worse than any yarn I've ever used, period. I made a sweater which I washed after completion - inside out, in a garment bag, on gentle - and almost cried when I saw how badly it had pilled and fuzzed up. After shaving it I still wore it despite the extreme "halo". After a couple of hours I realized my black pants had also developed a lilac halo. I don't plan to ever wear the sweater again. I consider it a total waste of time and money. It looked lovely before washing but went rogue after.

I crocheted a skirt out of this yarn. I tried it on over a store-bought skirt as a liner, for maybe five minutes. The store-bought skirt came out absolutely covered in fuzz. I had noticed the fuzzing when crocheting with it, but sometimes yarn does that when you're handling it so much. For a FO to shed that much when I didn't even so much as sit down while wearing it is unacceptable. Since I already have the yarn, I'm contemplating re-using it, but I would absolutely not recommend it. It is soft and doesn't dry out your hands as much as other cottons, but leaving a trail of fuzzy lint on everything you touch isn't worth it. I don't know if this problem gets better with washing, as I'm afraid to clog up my washer with it.

I really like this yarn. I can't speak to the pilling issue, as I have not yet washed my item. However, it IS 25% acrylic and most synthetics will pill some, in my experience--just the nature of the fabric. Yes, it also splits a bit--also typical of cotton yarns, but I didn't find it to be a problem, either with knit or crochet. It blocks beautifully, using the steam method and --on size 6 needles, has a lovely drape, and feels like kitten fur. I will def'ly be ordering more.

Only reason I rated this at very good and not excellent is because both the comfy and shine sport are more like DK weight. I've used them both several times in projects that required sport yarn and the gauge is ALWAYS off. It's just to thick to be considered sport IMO. The DK cotlin actually comes out to gauge more like a sport weight yarn. I really wish this yarn wasn't so thick or they had more cotton sport weight yarn choices...

This is the best cotton blend yarn I've purchased yet! And I've tried lots of different brands. It's soft and pliable, light, and they have many fantastic colorways.

This is my go-to yarn for baby blankets. Very soft, easy to handle, and washes well. I have had a couple skeins that were tangled inside, but not terribly so. The only real issue I have had is that the colors are not quite true to the images shown. I thought maybe it was my computer until I read the other reviews saying the same.

I really, really like this yarn. I have used it several times, in several weights, and I have had no real problems with unwinding skeins or pilling as some of the other users reported. Yes, occasionally there is a tangle in the skein, but it's been minimal. Also, I have a sweater I made about 3 years ago that I wear at least once a week during spring, summer and fall that has been machine washed and suffered minimal pilling. The texture of the yarn, while not exactly 'rustic', is not entirely smooth either, but as long as you know that in advance and plan you project accordingly, it's an excellent value.

I really like the yarn. The softness and the colors. The only problem I am running into is that it pills and I am using the yarn to make finished objects to sell. Any suggestions as to how to stop the pilling?

I hate to give this review because I was excited to get this yarn in the mail. The color was just right for a hat I was making. It was just enough to crochet a hat but as I started working with it the strands of yarn started to separate some. Then when I pickup up the next yarn to make a ball of yarn I noticed my hands were swollen after winding it up. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem?

This is my favorite yarn so far. It knits up so soft and makes beautiful baby things. I think I want to try to make something for myself because it is so comfortable. Never had any problems with the yarn. Thanks for such great products and great prices!!

I have to admit that I am a yarn snob. This, however, is clearly a great product for baby things. It acts like the real (wool) thing and is wash and dry. One proviso. I wind my balls into cakes to fit into my yarn bowl. 2 of the 5 were absolutely impossible. I tried one from the inside and the other, outside. The yarn twisted so badly inside with outside, that it was an hour for each. The second I finally trashed! Will I order more? Yes, but I plan on a hour of wasted time trying to rewind them.

I just ordered yarn in the creme brulee color. The problem is that I was expecting a yellow pastel color and the true color is more of a French's mustard color. very much darker than expected. I will be knitting up a tunic in stockinette so hopefully the color won't be as dark. Color not like the sample.

I like this yarn a lot, it is soft and has good stitch definition. My only complaint is that the color was not very true to the picture on the site. I ordered ivory, seafoam, and flamingo, and both the seafoam and ivory colors were much darker than they appeared in the photo. I don't know whether this is a photography issue or a dyeing issue, but if I had known the true colors I might have chosen different colors for my project.

Comfy Sport is the only yarn that I use for the blankets that I donate to children's hospital's. It continues to be my favorite yarn for preemie's as well.

Beautifully soft with a gentle sheen or luster. Color "Marlin" is a bit more muted in person than it is online, more of a dusty blue than a bright one. The yarn pills and fuzzes terribly while handling it to the point that (Crochet) stitch definition is lost in the halo it creates. I was gifted with several skeins for my birthday from a family friend

I used this yarn to crochet a sweater and cap for my new grandson, using the colors peapod and bison. It was wonderful to work with and the finished garment is beautiful. I'm going to start using this as my go-to yarn for baby items. Soft, beautiful colors, durable..what's not to love?

This yarn is a pleasure to work with. It is so very soft and "Comfy";. I highly recommend using this product, especially for sweaters or baby blankets.

This yarn is excellent for beginners learning to knit clothing, accessories, etc. It's beautiful, soft and easy to work with. Not to mention, it's washable and stretchy. I wish I had known about this a long time ago! I have a new favorite yarn!

So far, so good! I love how this yarn feels. So many times while knitting cotton my hands hurt, but this is so soft!
