This yarn is soft and beautiful, but it pills like crazy. I love the sweater I knit with it, but I can't wear it out of the house because the pilling makes it looks so shabby. I've tried shaving the pills off, but new pills develop within minutes, literally. I can't recommend Capretta for sweaters, though it could possibly work for a hat or scarf.

Wow! This yarn is amazing! I love working with it, and the project I'm making (fingerless gloves) is turning out spectacularly, with beautiful beads and great stitch definition--even in black. I'm glad I purchased two more balls in a different color to experiment with socks, but that will be later. I love that it is reinforced with nylon, as well as being super affordable. This is definitely a LUXURY yarn, but without the high price that usually accompanies such luxury fibers. I am very much looking forward to finishing my project (one down, half of another to go!) so that I can wear these cloud-like gloves! One ball is plenty to make a pair of fingerless gloves, which is even more affordable! More colors would be totally appreciated, of course. I am now intensely curious about the Capra yarn. Way to go, Knit Picks! *Note to self: will need to purchase more in other colors to make more gloves, since I will not want to part with these cushy gems.
