Wavecrest Socks
The Wavecrest socks are worked from the cuff down with a heel flap and gusset decrease. The wavy striping effect is created by working YO (Yarn Over) and CDD (Centre Double Decrease) stitches.
The pattern is written for Magic Loop Technique or using two short circular needles. All rounds start with Needle 1 - Leg Front and Instep followed by Needle 2 - Leg Back, Heel, Gusset and Sole.
With a contrasting cuff, heel, and toe, 2 pairs of the largest size can be made from a 100g skein of MC and 50g skein of CC. However, without hardly any left-over yarn.
