This yarn is a marvel of construction - brushed soft Suri alpaca is secured with a nylon binder that is wrapped in wool so it is hidden when the yarn is dyed. The rich colors are enhanced by the natural sheen of the Suri. The fuzziness is not tickly, just soft, and very warm. Ideal for any knit item that denotes "snuggly" to you, like afghans, scarves, hats, even casual pullovers for those days when you would rather have stayed in bed, buried under the covers. Suri Dream is a suitable substitute for mohair in many patterns; if you find mohair irritatingly itchy, Suri Dream may be your answer.

“I made an afghan with this yarn, it's light as a feather and keeps me warmer than what I ever imagined. It also makes nice sweaters and has a Mohair-type look. I recommend using both the regular and hand dyed yarns to mix up and have fun with.” Daily Knitter

"I just finished a Prayer Shawl for a dear friend knit with Suri Dream. Worked on large needles, the generously sized shawl knit up quickly and is so soft! Much better than mohair! I also used Suri Dream for my 'airplane' blanket -- a long, narrow strip of feather and fan repeats that keeps me warm when I travel."
