Stanwood is the best of both worlds: it's more practical than a shawl and more fun than a scarf. A great everyday accessory with its garter squish and slight curve, it is perfect for throwing around your shoulders on cool autumn mornings as you head out the door.
Stanwood is a long, slightly curved shawlette, worked flat from the long end. The piece is knit in Garter Stitch, with contrasting stripes along the outer curve. Garter Stitch points along the outside of the shawl are worked using short rows.
