Sherwood is a vintage cloche style hat with a unique reversible brim. An updated take on the "Robin Hood" hat so popular in the 1930s, Sherwood has Celtic flair and a vintage feel. The cabled band is knit separately using a provisional cast on, then grafted into a double-sided brim. Stitches are picked up along the brim and knit with basic decreases to shape the crown. A large decorative button holds the cloche brim in place on one side.
This pattern includes two sizes: Adult Small (to fit 21" circumference) and Adult Large (to fit 23" circumference).
