Wrought Iron Shawl Kit - Brown

Inspired by the stylized twisting vines of a piece of wrought iron artwork, the Wrought Iron Shawl combines the wonderfully lofty and woolly hand of Andes del Campo with intriguing colorwork of swirling motifs. The shawl is worked with a generous steek, allowing you to knit the fair isle colorwork in the round. The shawl is then steeked with the use of a sewing machine and triple reinforced to prevent the cut edges from fraying as the border is worked. Finally, the stitches along the sides of the shawl are picked up to form the border. Both written and charted instructions are included in the pattern.

You will need US 9 (5.5mm) 40" circular needles or size needed to get gauge, US 7 (4.5mm) 60" circular needles or 2 sizes smaller than needle used to get gauge, a size H crochet hook, stitch markers, scrap yarn, a tapestry needle, thread, blocking wires, pins, and a blocking mat.
