This scarf has a double sided cable patternso there is no "wrong" side. All the cables cross on the same row of the pattern so close attention is only required every 8 rows. The finished scarf is long, slender and very cosy. If you prefer a shorter scarf then just stop knitting earlier. If you would like a wider scarf add multiples of 8 stitches for each cable/rib repeat and adapt the pattern & yarn requirements accordingly.
