Watermelon Slice Purse

With summer always just around the corner it's time to use some of Knit Picks new yarn, Brava. This wonderful acrylic yarn has a great hand and makes knitting this cute and useful purse a breeze. Use the Watermelon Purse as a carry all for your knitting projects. Stash your sunscreen and sunglasses inside and ride your bike to the beach. Choose to line the purse with good quality cotton from your Local Fabric Store and you have an every day purse. Have fun with the pattern, change up the colors and customize it as you want.
This pattern is knit in five sections and sewn together using a yarn needle and yarn. If you choose to line your purse a sewing machine will facilitate the process but it is not necessary. Specific pattern and directions for lining the purse are not included as knitting styles and gauge vary. I do include a general discussion on how to line the purse at the end of the pattern.
