Vineyard Blanket

Lacy leaves clinging, bare stems twining around strong lines of a vineyard...that is what inspired this blanket. And just as it can be unexpected to find beauty in a bare branch, this blanket found lace in an unusual heavy yarn weight. A soft, sculpted fabric was formed from this bulky yarn. The short sides are finished by either knotted fringe or crocheted leaf edging; both complement the vineyard pattern. The rapid pattern repeat allows this blanket to be worked until a hank is finished.
