Through Thick & Thin Friendship Shawl

This crescent shaped Shawl was designed to celebrate friendship through thick & thin. I have made it using lace weight for the thin yarn and a worsted weight slow-variegating yarn for the thick yarn. It would be just as lovely made using finger/sock weight yarn for the thin yarn and using some thick handspun yarn for the thick yarn.
The Shawl is knitted with a size 8 needle for the thin yarn and a size 11 needle is used for the accent row done in the thick yarn.
It is a lovely shawl that is light, airy and features that POP of thicker yarn for color, contrast or texture.
