The texture of this sock reminds me of little stars, thus the name. The sock begins with Judy's Magic cast-on and is worked from the toe up. The tapered toe and the bottom of the sock are knit in stockinette stitch, while the top of the foot and the leg is worked in a simple textured pattern, made up of knits and purls. The cuff is knitted in a rib. The simple pattern is easy to memorize and knits up quickly. The pattern was created for a lady's foot, but the texture is so stretchy, that the pattern can easily be adapted to fit a man's foot as well.
