Texel Gloves

Texel is an island in the North Sea and the stitch patterns of these gloves are reminiscent of the waves of the sea. Knit them in sea and beach colors, as shown here, or make it a colorful, abstract pattern. Why not use up all those little leftover bits of wool to make each row of waves a different color?

Two options are given for the cuff: a pretty scallop cuff with a loose fit, and a practical, snug fitting ribbed cuff. With 9 pages this pattern provides detailed, fully written instructions with illustrations, and there are 4 sizes to choose from.
