Surrounded Afghan Pattern

This design forms a continuous i-cord edging on all sides as you go: when you’re done, it’s done. The pattern stitch works well with built-in i-cord and adds a lot of style. Slipped stitches create a cable effect without the use of a cable needle. The pattern stitch is easy to memorize, but there is always a little something going on to hold the knitter’s interest.
