Strelka may be small, but he's brave and scrappy!
Stranded colorwork and easy shaping create all the features in this dog. All pieces are knit separately and then joined, making for a floppy, animated toy.
Strelka had many inspirations, most of which came from childhood favorite dogs. In Strelka is a little of both Droopy Dog and George P. Dog, plus a large heaping of the Fisher Price Little People dog. I always adored these wacky cartoon versions and am pleased to give my pooch some of these same characteristics!
