My mother loved roses. One of my childhoodmemories is of the rose trellises we had in the back yard. However, it was Colorado. The last snowfall was in May and the first in September. So, the roses never reached their full potential. One of her other favorites (which she did have success with) were irises.
This foot top and leg front feature trellises loaded with roses. (As I was trying to arrange a simple rose bud pattern into multiple rose buds, the trellis just happened.) The back of the sock has a version of an iris cable.
