The shrug is made in two pieces. The shoulder/sleeves part is worked from a provisional cast-on from center back to cuff and then cast-on picked up for otherhalf. This gives flexibility for a perfect fit in the back width and sleeve length. The body is a rectangle. Optional short rows at back armpit gives a smoother fit.
