Does the world really need yet another knitted hat pattern?Probably not, but when the Dr. asked me to knit him a hat, I knewhe had to have something original. Figuring it would be almost aseasy to design a new pattern as it would be to find one we bothliked, I designed this quick topper around a cable pattern I foundin Vogue?s Stitchionary. The shaping implements an interesting newway to decrease ribbing that keeps the ribs intact, and the optionalrolled brim makes this hat wearable by both guys and gals.
