Named as a tribute to the ultimate fall food - pumpkin pie, this pattern is a fun little waistcoat, designed with those cool autumn (or spring) days in mind where you just need an extra layer but not a full sweater. It has neat pockets for storing all kinds of goodies. It is nearly seamless--knit in one piece to the armholes, then split, and the shoulders are later joined with a three needle bind off. The only bits left to seam are the pockets, though this could be avoided if you did afterthought pockets or left the pockets out all together.
