This shawl is the perfect thing when you want something a little more exciting than plain garter stitch (but not too much of a challenge) and something warm without having to commit to a sweater.
Knit from the top down, this shawl features stripes with short-row shaping. As a result, the stripes are not symmetrical but are balanced overall. A picot bind off finishes the shawl. Because of the way the stripes alternate, the shawl is easy to enlarge or shrink to accommodate your yarn supply.
