Peabey the Bear

A white teddy bear is still a teddy bear?but knitted Peabey the Polar Bear is the real thing! From his long snout and neck to his adorably pigeon-toed paws and round rump, Peabey looks like he just lumbered down from the Arctic Circle. Worked from the tail forward in simple stockinette on double-pointed needles, Peabey requires no seaming and minimal finishing, just a few stitches of embroidery for his cute face and feet.

Designer donates 50% proceeds to Polar Bears International and the International Association for Bear Research, to support bear research and conservation worldwide.

Sport weight yarn is used for the small bear; worsted weight yarn is used for the large bear. Aloft is held with either yarn to make the bear fuzzy.
