Parka-Trim Stole Pattern

This stole was inspired by traditional motifs found on handmade Alaskan parkas. Featuring a simple diamond lace panel, this stole can easily be converted to a scarf or a wider store by removing or adding in the desired amount of chart repeats. Another versatile option with this design is that it can easily seamed together to make a poncho. Knit one out of merino for lounging and one out of a silk blend for an elegant wrap suitable for a night out on the town. The pattern uses charts for the lace work portions of the pattern.
