A seamless back and forth lace cardigan. The lace stitch is matched in the underarms and the yoke so there are only whole repeats of the motif. Try to find where the underarm joins the yoke? it is nearly impossible to locate without knowing exactly the row it took place on because you knit it!
This is not an easy project, there are grafting, lace, and short rows all involved. An Adventuresome beginner with a bit of experience with lace could attempt it - and by the time you are done the body you will be used to lace, and you will be halfway through it before grafting or short rows are needed.
