Merciful Bag

Wool of the Andes worsted is held double throughout to create the variegated stripes of 'Merciful'. The fake fair-isle look of the bag is due to the two yarns you are working with at any given point twisting this way and that as you go along. It is knit in the round, leaving all the ends formed by changing yarns hidden between the outer bag and the inner knit lining. Three attached I-cords run up both sides of the 12" by 13" bag and are braided together at the shoulder strap for strength. Click on 'view more images' to see two other possible color combinations.
