Memories of Eire Vest

This salute to the Emerald Isles is a fun knit with its cables, traveling stitches, knit-purl texture combinations and fun shawl collar. The hem is knit in a strip (with a very cool traveling stitch design), turned on its side and the body pieces are picked-up. The body is then knit in one-piece to the underarms and then split. The knit-purl "celtic knot" on the back is worth the trouble. A deep V-neckline is filled with a shawl collar done in garter stitch. This is a wonderful stretch of your knitting prowess.

NOTE: this pdf has been updated to correct an error on the chart for 4LT; the twist should be done on row 7, not row 8.
