Large Side Cable Hat Pattern

This hat is a study in how large one can cable in knitting. The cable is 16 stitches wide. The Beaniestyle hat, knitted in the round, features one "mondo” cable, meant to be worn on one side of the head. It will fit multiple sizes of heads, since the knitted fabric is stretchy.
This hat takes one skein of Swish Worsted yarn to make. It took almost the entire skein to complete the hat, with only a few yards leftover. If you plan to lengthen the hat or embellish with a pom-pom (optional) please purchase a second skein.
