Subtle cables are slightly reminiscent of wood's grain. Extra long, these gloves are great for those cold days when you need that extra bit of warmth. They were designed with a more masculine look in mind, but by simply omitting one set of five stitches, you can make it small enough to fit a woman's hands as well. You can also knit them shorter by leaving off repeats.
