The scarf is knit holding two strands of lace weight yarn together and knitting them as one strand. The instructions below will produce the scarf as shown. The width of the scarf can be altered by knitting more or less repeats of the pattern in each row, and the length can be altered by knitting more sequences of rows 1 through 14. The colors can be varied as desired.

Some colors used in the sample are no longer available; we have made color suggestions in the yarn calculator below.
