This design is the ideal pattern for anyone just learning how to knit. Made entirely out of garter stitch, this scarf will give you plenty of practice with the knit stitch – allowing you to move forward to other stitches and projects with confidence. Use a solid for a classic scarf or mix things up with a fun, variegated colorway to add pops of color as you knit. (Note: we're suggesting bulky yarn as an alternate to double stranding two worsted weight yarns together)
