Crossing Paths Socks Pattern

$1.99
Right and left twists are some of my favorite stitches. And I love lace. This sock incorporates both. It has a twisting diamond pattern on the top/front of the sock and a lace mesh pattern in back (both patterns adapted from stitch patterns created by Gail Dennis ofsockamaniac.blogspot.com). The sock is worked from the toe up. It has a Fleegle heel, a eyelet cuff, and a variation on a rounded toe. The sock looks good in any style of fingering-weight yarn except for self-patterning yarns and twist yarns. Pooling actually works well with this pattern. In the pictured socks, the diamond pattern is reversed for the second sock.
