Christmastime Socks

When I think of winter, I think of Christmas trees, and candycanes,"and sleigh bells. This sock incorporates all of these.
The sock is worked from the toe up. It has a rounded toe and a short-row heel. Fir trees form the center of the sock and are framed by strings of sleigh bells. The back of the leg features candy canes. The tree and candy-cane designs are made up mostly of 2-st cables and twists. The heel isn't the usual short-row heel. It's a yo-yo (German jo-jo) heel, which uses doubled stitches instead of wrapping.
