Branch Legwarmers

Branches are one of the forms that fit in knitting and always lookgood! These are mirror images of each other, and have little “berries” at the tips. The shape is reminiscent of slender upright trees where the tips of the branches turn in, making the tree look smooth and introspective.
Legwarmers are one of those things you don’t necessarily think you need, but are so comfortable to wear just sitting around the house.
If your legs are cold, they are cozier than a blanket – no drafts of cold air and if you have to get up they still keep you warm.
To find your size, measure around the largest part of your calf, right under your knee. If you are making these for a gift, xs is a very slender leg, if the recipient has an average amount of muscle she will need a small, if fairly muscular (or the equivalent in bone structure or flesh) she will be a medium, and if she is a dancer and has very muscular legs (or just has larger legs) make a large.
As should be expected, these sizes do not correspond to sweater or sock sizes.
