Baldrun Pullover Pattern

Be inspired by the traditions of Iceland with the Baldrun Pullover! This bottom-up sweater contrasts the plain stockinette body and sleeves with colorful, geometric patterning along the yoke, hem, and cuffs. The yoke begins with no decreases to both lengthen the body and give more freedom of movement in the sleeves. The front yoke also includes a steek for the zippered front opening. After the yoke is completed and the steek is sewn and cut, the collar is picked up and knit on. The final touch of the Baldrun Pullover includes sewing a zipper along the front neckline. The multi-colored geometric yoke does include sections where three colors will be worked across the same row. With a bright yet simple design, the Baldrun Sweater uses Andes del Campo to give this Icelandic styled sweater a warm, rustic appeal.
