The Baby Ruth candy bar was not named after baseball greatBabe Ruth, but Present Grover Cleveland’s daughter Ruth. Another fun baseball legend? The New York Yankees were the first team to put pinstripes on their uniforms in order to make Babe Ruth look slimmer. Pinstripes were first found on baseball uniforms in 1907, and started being worn by the Yankees in 1918, a couple of years before Ruth started playing for them. But those measly facts aren’t keeping me from honoring Babe Ruth in all his pinstriped glory with this baby onesie pattern.
