Originally designed to show the panda’s image through texture, this afghan is well-suited for the beginning knitter, using just one color of yarn and the most basic of stitches – knit and purl. The intermediate knitter can easily color it with intarsia. Charts provide a guide for creating the image using both texture and intarsia; written instructions are for the single color version only.
