Allegro is an easy open front cardigan worked from the top down in a warm worsted weight wool. The straight body is shaped at the waist by the cable on the back (both charted and written instructions are provided), gathering the fabric to create a flattering silhouette. The larger garter stitch collar is picked up after the completion of the body.
The finishing is limited to weaving in the ends , making this design an easy and rewarding project. The construction also allows for easy customization, making attractive to a wide range of knitters.
